Within the domain Operations & IT we ensure to efficiently implement the continuous changes in our IT landscape and existing processes that are needed to remain competitive in the energy trading market. Within the Operations & IT department, the Realization team is responsible for facilitating the implementation of projects and new developments in our landscape. You work as an analyst in the Realization team. The changes are very diverse - from implementing new battery storage systems in our trading portfolio to complying with changes in legislation and regulations. All changes contribute to Eneco's One Planet Plan, and you are initially focused on the heat domain.

As a Business Analyst Realization, you realize operational projects in the field of energy management. The projects have a large diversity – some examples include the implementation of new solar and wind farms and batteries, the development of new commercial products for customers, improvements to our innovative Virtual Power Plant (VPP) and modelling platforms, meeting the ever-changing market requirements, etc. You contribute to such projects from an expert as from a project coordination point of view.

You act like a spider in the web - on the one hand you are the focal point for the operational activities, but on the other hand you are also a sparring partner for the commercial teams, IT development teams and external parties. You understand the energy management processes and can solve more complex operational problems. New project realizations must be delivered in such a way that the operations team can properly process changes in knowledge and workflow processes. You’re the voice of the operators towards the development teams, ensuring their requirements are met and they receive the required training and support. Your main responsibility is to produce market opportunities in the heat domain for the Warmtelinq project, allowing our operational department to nominate and dispatch heat. You will translate the business requirements into the tooling needed for 24/7 operation in collaboration with Forecasters, Traders and IT teams.

In addition to project work, you and the team ensure that continuous operational improvements are achieved under the motto “a step better every day”. You set priorities, execute, and solve complex problems. And you also make improvements to processes and translate this into operational instructions and standard solutions.

• You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree with a technical, digital or operational focus.
• You have a demonstrable track record of fast learning and you’re able to quickly master new situations and topics.
• You can act strategically and tactically, but also know how to operationalize things; you can quickly switch from detail to high-level, depending on your stakeholder.
• You are comfortable discussing details with your expert colleagues, as well as communicating your findings in layman’s terms: you act both at strategic, technical, and operational level and are able to switch between technical and business stakeholders.
• You have strong analytic skills – ability to pick-up complex topics fast and translate them into practical solutions. You have a sixth sense for data and are passionate about data analysis tools such as PowerBI and Excel.
• You take initiative, you can cope in a demanding operational environment, you can prioritize well, and you can easily connect to people from other departments.
• You thrive in a complex environment and you’re eager to challenge the status quo.
• You have a can-do mentality, you work independently, are ambitious and proactive.
• You have good communication skills in Dutch and English (French and German are a plus).

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor

• End-to-end (from idea to go-live) implementing new products on time and in line with contract requirements: on time and on budget.
• Translating commercial proposals, contracts, client needs and market developments into practical end-to-end solutions.
• Optimizing the integral energy management of the entire asset portfolio, with automated systems and your analytical skills.
• Being point of contact and sparring partner for both internal colleagues (traders, operators, IT developers, contract managers, data scientist) and external parties (assets, TSOs, service partners) in the field of energy management.
• Driving continious improvement in the operation and looking at implementation together with the team.

You’ll work within the newly set up team Realization. This team consists of implementation managers, analysts and project leads. In total the team consists of around 15 FTE and holds junior, medior and senior professionals. The team Realization is part of EET Operations and IT.

You will be part of the Eneco Energy Trading (EET) department and work in a dynamic trading environment. With a diverse team of more than a hundred highly educated employees, we are working on an optimal market vision that supports Eneco's sustainability objectives. EET forms a busy, sometimes hectic working environment that requires a lot of personal initiative and insight. We quickly switch with each other in an informal, collegial atmosphere. Within EET, the commercial, operation and IT teams work closely together to deliver our ambitions. You shape the energy transition yourselves. This is a rewarding but challenging task.

Bruto jaarsalaris tussen de €67.000 en €90.000
