EUV Source Laser - Integration Architect - Drive Laser Controls

The department EUV D&E (Development & Engineering) Source Laser is responsible for delivering the specification, design, integration and validation of the Laser system which is a key part of the EUV Source which secures plasma EUV light generation.

Role

As an ASML Integration Architect in the EUV D&E Source Laser department you will be accountable for the integration strategy of new drive laser systems as designed and build by our supplier Trumpf. Your goal is to verify and validate the main function on ASML proto system and deliver the High Level Tests Performance Specification and Acceptance Results which includes conclusion and recommendation for follow-up actions and design improvements.

Besides the concrete role as Drive Laser integration functional wagon architect you will be part of the integration source laser group, in which you will act as senior. This includes the definition of the integration roadmap and taking the lead in the realization of the roadmap.

You will be a senior leader of the Source Laser Integration group.

Main Responsibilities

Own and Drive the Cluster Integration Strategy:

• You are part of a 5 Integration Architects team, working across several clusters, who define Integration strategy for SF15

• Create and Own the cluster (Pre) Integration logic, including earlier involvement in the program to (proactively influence) challenge the design and requirements

• You are part of the cluster architect team where your contribution is in defining integration strategy

• You bring your unique knowledge to the clusters cockpit and influence the projects and integration in the groups

Lead Cluster’s (early) module derisking:

• Own the Functional test platforms of their Cluster: Drive towards early qualification (example: how many Test benches / dev benches, why, when and how), to ensure minimal interruption during integration phase, ensuring E2E ownership

• Lead Integration Cluster Investigation & Coordination troubleshooting efforts, following up on Issues

• Ensure feedback loops and prevent relearning between in new programs.

• Be the quality gatekeeper of integration competence with the Cluster (drive towards Quality Tests Performance Specification and Acceptance Results from the Cluster Integrators, ramp up Junior Integrators, …)

• Represents the Cluster towards the Integration Architect team and represents the Integration Architect team towards the Cluster

Represent your Cluster in the Source Laser Integration alignments:

• Closely aligned with cross-Cluster Integrators - Understanding the Milestones, overall logic of Integration, the "why", to bring that strategy towards your cluster

• Challenge the logic of the Integration strategy with the unique knowledge you bring from your cluster

• Review the cross-cluster integration logic from your clusters perspective

• Own and drive the early Test-Claims on Machine-Time items from your cluster

Education

MSc or PhD in a technical area.

.

Experience

• > 5 years of experience in working on laser systems in a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably within ASML.

• Architect experience (Technical lead of engineer team 5 -10 FTE).

• Integration experience on system level
