- You are responsible for the planning, administration, operation and 2nd level support of the DNS solution of Siemens AG and the secure mail gateway environment.
- You will also implement, define, and perform operations and support activities that are specific to DNS and mail operations.
- You are responsible for the design and operation of the Secure Mail Gateway solution, including troubleshooting.
- In your role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining complex scripts in the field of process automation.
- You will be familiar with monitoring and managing the DNS and mail environment, as well as supporting the firewall team with simple tasks.
- Your area of responsibility includes in particular the 7*24h on-call-troubleshooting and the troubleshooting in the areas (DNS, mail, firewall).
- Regular coordination with other departments regarding requirements and safety aspects is also your responsibility.
- The basis of your success is a successfully completed degree in Computer Science or similar.
- You have several years of professional experience in the areas of DNS, scripting and the mail environment.
- You can and want to drive digitization in companies and have market-driven know-how on relevant technologies, for example in the areas of DNS (Bind 9), DNSSEC, scripting, and Secure Mail.
- You have a basic understanding of technologies (Unix OS, mySQL).
- You have excellent analytical skills as well as strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in creating and maintaining scripts, preferably with Python, distinguishes you.
- In addition, you have a high degree of result orientation and willingness to do on call service.
- Very good English skills, especially technical English, round off your profile.
