    Job Description:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • The Maintenance Engineer participates in equipment related work orders such as Preventive, Corrective maintenance and internal calibrations according to assigned job plans and SOPs.
    • Inspects and confirms that their organization's equipment is in working order to meet company requirements.
    • Executes the assigned preventive maintenance and calibration work orders in time.
    • Agilely reacts on the corrective maintenance service requests which are assigned to them.
    • Ensures that the PM and calibration labels are the equipment are up-to-dated and align with the relevant documents and CMMS.
    • Performs the cleaning of the operational equipment if assigned to; to ensure that the equipment cleaning validation is valid.
    • Is capable of interpreting and analyzing the external maintenance reports and equipment instruction manuals.
    • Oversights the external calibration/maintenance works that are performed on-site.
    • Participates in the relevant training and executes the qualification protocols and records the qualification reports properly.
    • Purchasing and managing outsourced maintenance and calibration of equipment based on ISO 13485 Guidance and maintenance and/or calibration contracts.
    • Create and run quality tests based on appropriate protocols; evaluate engineering systems and processes; calibrate and repair systems and machinery.
    • Keep and update activity logs; perform troubleshooting; ensure compliance with safety and quality standards & collaborate with engineers and technicians on projects.
    • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to the Engineering management.
    • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
    • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

    • MBO degree in equipment/maintenance related fields. Academic degrees in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines are preferable.
    • Previous experience in a similar role covering control of inspection, measuring and test equipment (internal and external calibration procedures); calibration and maintenance intervals.
    • Know-how on terms/definitions like gage and gauge; monitoring and measuring device; precision, resolution, tolerance.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and safety regulations.

    Required knowledge

    • Organized, detail-oriented and a strong equipment background.
    • Experience in pharma or medical device environment.
    • Familiar with GxP rules related to the field and particularly the role.

    • Teamwork skills
