About us:
Damen Civil & Modular Constructions is a company within the Damen group where we are passionate about building entire shipyards, drydocks of all sizes, a wide range of pontoons and barges, split hopper barges and any other steelworks worldwide.
We are headquartered in the center of the Netherlands in Gorinchem but we service an build all over the globe. We have a diverse mix of experts in engineering, production (local and global), quality and project/product management. Together we aim that our internal and external clients are served with success.
About you:
You have a practical yet organized mindset with a passion for drydocks. You are flexible in your role and like to develop a superior product.
The role:
Currently we are looking for a product Manager Docks at the steel constructions department at C&MC. The candidate that we are looking for will become the authority on drydocks.
From offering, designing and building the docks. You ensure that a proper offer is made for the incoming commercial requests and that the standard is created. This has to be done in an organized and structured manner.
Responsibilities:
You are overall responsible for the drydock portfolio, from standardizing the products, ensuring that the offers are accurate and you will act as an internal consultant for questions throughout the building process
Education / skills and experience:
- 7+ years of experience with drydocks
- Hands-on mentality
- Higher professional education or Bachelor in technical or maritime thinking level
- Good command of the English and Dutch language (written & verbal).
- Available for business travel and /or working abroad for a short-medium duration.
