Are you an experienced Product Owner with a passion and proven track record in improving logistics processes and the underlying IT systems? Do you have experience with SAP Logistics modules and you want to work in a global company with intricate logistics processes and IT applications?  If so, we have the perfect job for you!

Together with the Warehouse Logistics Agile Team, as Product Owner (PO) you deliver features that create value for ASML’s logistics processes. You work together with the Chief Product Owner (CPO) to understand the program backlog, vision and priorities for the program increments and refine and prepare the Team Backlog. Following the agile methodology, you lead and coordinate requirement gathering, process design, support IT build, testing, training, documentation and communication.

Role and Responsibilities
  • End2End accountability of delivery of the epics/features of the Warehouse Logistics Agile team
  • Align with other PO’s and CPO on priorities of the Agile Release Train
  • Ensure the Team Backlog is prioritized, visible and transparent; epics/features/user stories are detailed and clear to all
  • Set clear acceptance criteria and Definition of done and accepting the stories as “done”
  • Understanding the scope of enabler work and collaborate with the System Architect.
  • Facilitate decision making and requirements gathering, oversee IT build and testing
  • Analyze impact of new ways of working and determine implementation strategies
  • Support implementation and define roll out plans including (key) user training, documentation and communication
  • Informing all stakeholders on status/progress
  • Work together with other PO’s and scrum masters on standardization, using best practices and 1 way of working to improve and learn from each other.
  • Ensure smooth team cooperation and wellbeing of team members.

Education and experience
  • Master (or Bachelor degree with multiple years of proven work experience) in Industrial Engineering & Management Science / Business Administration / Business- IT management or related field.
  • 5 - 7 years work experience in Product Owner role (or similar) in a production environment with high tech products and intricate production and logistics processes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Inbound and Outbound logistics and Warehouse processes.
  • Experience and functional knowledge of SAP Logistics modules (EWM/WMS)
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Experience with Jira application

  • Open-minded, strong communication skills both in word and writing, with strong presentation skills
  • Consultancy and change management skills, able to convince people, also at higher management levels.
  • Structured, strong planning/scheduling skills
  • Flexible, team player, takes initiative, motivator.
  • Ability to lead team of process and IT experts
  • Fluent in English in speech and writing.

The Product Owner Warehouse Logistics reports to the manager of the Manufacturing Services - Means & Methods - Functional Application Management department. Our department guides and supports the execution of global projects through definition, requirement specification, testing and implementation of new or improved functionalities in Manufacturing processes and IT applications. We drive and execute improvements in processes and IT applications and offer third-line support for end-users in multiple factories for Work preparation & Manufacturing processes.
