Team Lead Civil - Structural Engineering

The Team Lead Civil - Structural Engineer is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join the PM Group team out of the quickly growing Benelux area office located out of Belgium predominantly in Antwerp and Brussels area.

• Assist in the planning and allocation of resources
• Recruitment and development of resources – graduate recruitment, training, etc.
• Improve the efficiency of the department’s work processes along with supporting the Civil Structural community on scope.
• Support and maintain quality standards within the Department.
• Support and drive innovation within the Civil Structural Department to ensure PM Group remains to the fore in engineering design.
• Deputise for Department Manager during periods of absence
• Promote and encourage the use of Delta, DePD and new ways of working within the department.
• Promote Sustainable design practices at discipline level.
• Work on project or bookable work part time while fulfilling this role.

• Qualified to at least a Master Degree in Construction.
• Minimum of 10 years design experience with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Chartered status preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with PM Group design and project execution systems or similar.
• Strong Commercial focus.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Good time management skills – ability to balance dual role.
• Self-starter and decision maker.
• Good knowledge of Englis, French and/or Dutch.
