Introduction to the job
The role is within our IT R&D BL Apps team. BL Apps VDI team is responsible for providing a state-of-the-art development environment, used by the BL Apps MPC software development community. The team is part of the Developer Services Train. The team combines the knowledge of our internal IT infrastructure, development tools and modern development practices. The goal is to is to deliver a secure, innovative and scalable Developer Workplace solution to enable the delivery of high-quality software with greater speed and frequency.

Role and Responsibilities

You'll work a with stakeholder network and team on a product with small to medium impact on ASML business processes & interdependencies/ integration with other teams in the train. Next to that you'll interact with key stakeholders on team level, PO's and the trains 'Leading Coalition' (Release Train Engineer, Chief Product Owner, Architect). In short term you'll will have multiple iterations and 1 program increment, with a focus on product eco-system to enable the team to maximize value delivery.

As Product Owner Workplace/VDI you'll be responsible for:

  • Vision and Roadmap
    Support in creating long term vision and plan, translate stakeholder and team needs into Iteration goals

  • Stakeholder Management
    ​Regularly communicate with stakeholders on their needs and concerns. Align with stakeholders on content and prioritization. Maintain a trusted partnership with the team and peers in the train. Start building a trusted partnership with key stakeholders in the train

  • Healthy Backlog Management
    Prepare the teams backlog for the upcoming Program Increments. Follow guardrails in ensuring the backlog is properly prioritized. Apply minimum viable product (MVP) thinking to optimize value delivered over time. Manage dependencies with other PO's

Education and experience
To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need experience working on High Tech products and with complex processes. As Product Owner Workplace/ VDI, you’ll need:

  • Master degree or equivalent working and thinking level, with thorough experience in engineering or IT and solid experience as Product Owner

  • Understands the business context, ownership, minimal Viable Product thinking, and long term planning

  • Sufficient product/domain knowledge; likely through experience as SME, Senior Engineer or Lead Engineer

  • Good stakeholder management skills

Other information

For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 88,000 euro and 100,000 euro. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment. Company profit sharing is not included in this range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant Education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
