Vacature

Overview

To support several important projects on site with a client in the region of Leuven we are searching for an experienced SITE SUPERVISOR.

This position is open for employees or freelancers.

PM Group is a leading International engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm. With a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US and a multi-discipline team of 3,600 people, we deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks:

Monitoring site planning
Consulting with contractors and the construction team; liaising with the supervisor, architect, engineering firm, ...
Participating in (site) meetings on daily base
Attending inspections and tests.
Supervising safety on site and reporting to the construction team if guidelines are not followed. Requesting compliance with social, welfare and environmental legislation and reporting unsafe situations. => Weekly summary report with comments on site
Ensuring order, cleanliness and structure on the sites.
Drawing up, activating and closing permits. => in case of interference to the site

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience, preferably in a technical field (knowledge of construction works, electromechanical equipment and specifications);
Number of years of relevant experience
List of relevant reference projects
VCA certification: a valid VCA-VOL (or equivalent) at the time of registration.
Knowledge of languages: fluent knowledge of Dutch and preferably also knowledge of English in written and oral communication.
