We are looking for an enthusiastic Development & Validation Engineer Aeroacoustics.

Tasks and responsibilities

Analysing audio data to explain physical flow-acoustic mechanisms and validating simulation models.
Programming automated and new analysis methods and handling large amounts of data.
Advice during the development process on the design of acoustically effective components and secondary sound sources.
Presenting the results to the individual specialist departments and staff committees and working closely with the simulation department.
Supporting the specialist group in the preparation of manufacturer specifications on the acoustic properties of the wind turbine (warranty data).
Communication with other internal specialist departments on topics relating to the acoustics of wind turbines.
Preparation of documents and reports for WRD departments, customers and service providers.

Vereisten

What we ask of you

Master's or Bachelor's degree specialising in acoustics, audiology, computer science or similar.
Very good programming skills in Python.
Skills in machine learning.
Good knowledge of maths and statistics for appropriate application.
Curiosity, creative and critical thinking.
Proactive problem solving and effective communication.
