2e Officier MPI Jackups

Als 2nd Officer aan boord van een Jack-Up Vessel ben je verantwoordelijk voor het veilig navigeren en ondersteunen van maritieme en offshore werkzaamheden. Je werkt samen met de Bridge Officers en het projectteam aan het succesvol uitvoeren van uitdagende offshore-installatieprojecten, zoals de bouw van windparken op zee.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Standing watch on the bridge during operations and transit.
• Preparing for and assisting with jack-up operations and DP (Dynamic Positioning) activities.
• Ensuring safety on board and actively contributing to safety procedures as Safety Officer.
• Supporting deck operations, cargo handling, and coordinating with the installation or construction team.
• Maintaining communication with project management and the bridge team during critical offshore operations.
• Training and mentoring junior officers and cadets.

We are looking for a colleague who:

• Holds a completed education in Maritime Officer studies (MBO or HBO level).
• Has a valid Certificate of Competency of at least Officer of the Watch.
• Has experience with offshore operations and/or jack-up or DP vessels (preferred).
• Is familiar with applicable regulations and standards (ISM, ISPS, MARPOL).
• Is a team player, communicatively strong, and safety-driven.
• Is willing to work worldwide in a rotational schedule.
