The Board of Management (or BoM) is the highest executive body of our company and is responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing ASML. 

Our board assistants work directly with and for our BoM members and support them with high-quality support while functioning seamlessly together within the team. Role and Responsibilities 

In this role you will support the Chief financial officer (CFO), enabling him to focus on his core business. Efficiency and collaboration together with a deep understanding of the company context and its activities are important drivers for this position.  

Together with your colleagues, you provide high-quality support to ASML’s top management. You independently manage expectations to meet the (future) needs of the BoM member. In this dynamic environment you frequently align on workload and responsibilities, in close collaboration with your team. You signal and support in optimizing our processes and continuously seek for opportunities to optimize the daily work. You anticipate and manage independently complex actions and integrate the business meetings and priorities. You will support the BoM member in external board positions and ensure that his calendar are duly considered in meeting schedules. A solid understanding of corporate and business governance is essential. 
  

As Board Assistant to the CFO, you work with precision and a strong sense of responsibility. You know how to interact professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders, such as government officials, investors, high-level customers. 
 

 Your main tasks will involve:  

  • Executive Support: Provide high-level “Assistant” support to the BoM member ensuring the smooth execution of BoM’s daily activities, such as agenda management, travel arrangement, e-mail management, meeting preparation, working from team perspective for combined activities of BoM Members  

  • Project Involvement: Contribute to the execution of business priorities by supporting (cross-) sectoral projects, events and defining meeting governance structures in a yearly planning cadence 

  • Communication: Work as an interface between the Board of Management and key stakeholders in- and outside of the company 

  • Confidentiality: The nature of this role requires that you understand the importance of handling sensitive information with the upmost care and professionalism 

  

Education and experience  
  • You have 10+ years of relevant work experience in an international environment with cross-cultural knowledge 

  • You operate at an academic thinking and working level 

  • You are fluent in both spoken and written English and Dutch
