Werken bij Feadship is bijzonder.
Dit oer-Hollandse bedrijf heeft ‘roots’ die teruggaan tot 1849. Hoe mooi is dat? Feadship bestaat uit een groep nauw samenwerkende bedrijven die tot de absolute wereldtop van de superjachtbouw horen. Want sinds 1949 bouwen Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw en Royal Van Lent Shipyard onder de merknaam Feadship de mooiste custom built superjachten. Feadship is dus de merknaam van onze jachten. Als je bij ons werkt dan ben je in dienst van één van de Feadship bedrijven. Dat kan een werf zijn, een productiebedrijf of het eigen ontwerp- en engineeringsbureau: De Voogt Naval Architects. Hierdoor hebben we alle specialismen in huis om onze prachtige schepen te bouwen. Van eerste schets tot proefvaart.
En hier eindigt het niet. Want om te zorgen dat een Feadship een Feadship blijft, hebben we een afdeling Refit & Services. Daar ‘servicen’ we de varende vloot en voeren op verzoek van de eigenaar updates uit – ook hier volledig naar wens en behoefte. Dit kan variëren van een nieuwe laklaag tot een verlenging van een Feadship. Alles is mogelijk.

Bij Feadship werk je in de absolute top van de superjachtbouw. Vakmanschap, passie en heel veel aandacht voor detail leiden tot een prachtig eindproduct. Ieder Feadship is uniek en custom built, exact naar de wensen van de opdrachtgever. Een eindproduct waar er maar één van gebouwd wordt en waar iedereen trots op is. Omdat je met zoveel zorg bouwt aan een Feadship, voelt het een beetje alsof het jouw eigen boot is. Dat maakt werken bij Feadship bijzonder!
Job
Behind every Feadship superyacht lies an extremely carefully structured engineering process. Cadmatic plays a key role in this. As a Cadmatic Administrator, you ensure that engineers, shipyards and production teams can work within one reliable, intelligent and well‑structured 3D environment.
You act as the connecting link between engineering, IT and production. From STI Engineering in Heiloo, you support and improve the use of Cadmatic across the entire Feadship group, including De Vries Shipyards (Aalsmeer & Makkum) and Royal Van Lent Shipyards. Your work may not always be visible on the outside of the yacht — but without you, it simply would not come to life.
In this role you combine technical insight, Cadmatic expertise and an understanding of engineering processes. You work closely with engineers, project teams and key users, and you actively contribute to the further professionalisation and standardisation of the engineering process.
Your responsibilities include:
Cadmatic application & model management
You manage and develop the Cadmatic environment, including models, templates and libraries, enabling engineers across the Feadship group to work efficiently and according to shared standards.
Integration, automation & data
You monitor and improve the exchange of 3D data between Cadmatic and other systems, contribute ideas on automation and help maintain a stable and future‑proof engineering process.
Support & collaboration
You support and guide users, act as the linking pin between engineering, production and other disciplines, and contribute actively to the continuous improvement of the engineering workflow.
You formally report within STI Engineering, but you work closely with project management and mechanical engineeringmanagement. This gives you influence on both design and manufacturability.
- Bachelor or Master degree (Mechanical Engineering)
- At least 1–2 years of experience as a Cadmatic Administrator for Plant Modeler or Hull, plus knowledge of other CAD applications, Teamcenter and eShare
- Strong understanding of the engineering process and how 3D models are used in practice
- Completed Cadmatic trainings in the areas of: COS, parts and specs, document production, Diagram Admin and Hull Administrator
- Technical insight and strong analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills in English or Dutch (Dutch is a plus)
- Enjoy helping others, sharing knowledge and building bridges between disciplines

You must have permanent permission to work and reside in the Netherlands (EU + Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland).
A 32–40 hour position within an informal organisation. You will have the opportunity to work on the most impressive superyachts in the world. - Salary indication €3.500 – €4.750 gross per month (full‑time), depending on knowledge and experience
- 28 vacation days per year (full‑time)
