This internship is intended for students enrolled in an educational program relevant to the job qualifications or those in the penultimate/final year of an accredited full-time Bachelor's or Master's degree program located in the EMEA region. Participation in the internship program requires that you are located in one of the specific country locations identified for this role, for the duration of the internship program. Interns will be required to be available to work full-time for a minimum of 13 weeks over the Summer 2026 (starting in May, June or July) for the duration of the program.

    • Currently enrolled in an educational program relevant to the Job qualifications or in the penultimate/final year of an accredited full-time Bachelor's or Master's degree program located in the EMEA region.
    • Relevant practical or internship experience in Mechanical/Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC), or electrical experience (e.g., electrical testing equipment or electrical distribution) in an industrial or commercial environment.

    Preferred qualifications:
    • Relevant practical or internship experience in data centers or critical facilities, such as hospitals, or power plants.
    • Relevant practical or internship experience of electrical or mechnical systems used in a data center environment (e.g., Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units).
    • Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting utilizing standard hand tools, digital metering, or calibration/diagnostic equipment.
    • Ability to complete a 13 week full-time internship in the internship location between May - October 2025.

    As a Data Center Facilities Technician Intern, you will play a vital role in maintaining the physical data center environment. You will train alongside experienced technicians, gaining experience by assisting with the operation, maintenance, and repair of critical electrical and mechanical systems, including HVAC, UPS, generators, and control and monitoring systems.

    A key part of your role will be learning to inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems like piping and other electrical or mechanical components. You'll also learn to read blueprints and schematics, assist in conducting system tours, and provide daily support to our technicians. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop creative solutions for improving operational efficiencies and reducing costs, all while adhering to our strict health and safety policies. By learning our systems and tools, you will build a solid technical foundation and grow your skills in a mission-critical environment.
