The energy transition needs you as Delivery Master 

As a Delivery Master at Allianders’ System Operations department, your main task is to orchestrate the delivery of projects aimed at enhancing the electricity grid's flexibility. Handling congestion within the energy grid is important, operating capability is key. 

This involves leading agile teams, facilitating communication between stakeholders as well as across companies, and ensuring projects alignment with strategic objectives. You will drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve grid management, directly contributing to the energy transition and sustainability goals within a pioneering, English-speaking environment.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects enhancing grid flexibility. 

  • Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to align project goals with strategic objectives. 

  • Implement agile methodologies to optimize project workflows and team performance. 

  • Operation capability of the grid management system. 

  • Monitor, report and solve on project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and obstacles, as well as find/facilitate solutions

In your role, you work closely with the Partnership Managers and colleagues in different roles across all levels from CxO to Product Owners, within Alliander and also with external partners. Together with the team, you ensure that objectives and deadlines are met and that planning and collaboration are tailored to the capabilities and possibilities of the situation and respective teams, delivering our milestones on time and with excellent quality. We are looking for an inspiring and motivating colleague who can build and motivate teams, manage risks and issues, ensure delivery, coach team members, and facilitate continuous improvement by applying agile tools and techniques correctly.  

  

System Operations is based in Arnhem, but our hybrid working model offers the flexibility to work from anywhere. Whether it's from our offices in Apeldoorn, Amsterdam, Haarlem, or your home, location is no barrier. 

With team members from around the globe, English is our main language. We foster intense collaboration across all 20 teams, making a team-oriented attitude essential.

  • Expertise in/knowledge of the electricity network, complex IT systems and its dynamics. 

  • At least 5 yrs business experience in a scrum master role 

  • Experience working in/with bigger international corporates 

  • Experience in facilitating collaboration across companies working on the same project/goal 

  • Strong drive to solve organizational issues and foster alignment 

  • Innovative approach to project delivery and management. 

  • Skilled in risk management and mitigation strategies. 

 

Better organised for you 

Based on a 40-hour working week, you will receive: 

  • a gross monthly salary of € 4.995 to € 7.079 (scale 10) 

  • based on a full-time working week, an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% of your gross annual salary if your work full time. This includes 5.2% ADV (shorter working hours) and 8% holiday allowance. If you do not work full time, you are not entitled to ADV and you receive 12.8% IKB budget (which includes 8% holiday allowance). You can use your personal budget for purchasing extra days off or have it paid every month as extra salary. In December you’ll receive an end-of-year bonus of 5.94% of your gross annual salary. 

  • the possibility to work from home; 

  • Workations are part of our collective labour agreement 

  • Eligible employees can benefit from the 30% tax ruling
