NCE > SBU NCE Service > Blade Service
The Vestas Northern Central Europe business unit is responsible for the Sales, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout the NCE region. Within NCE Offshore, Special Projects handle some of the largest, most complex and bespoke operations in the company. Blade service sits within this and manages all aspects of our blade inspections and maintenance for the growing fleet of the more than 1000 turbines we have under our scope from next year.
Responsibilities
As a Blade Service Deputy Site Manager (m/f/d), you manage the operations of a single or multiple sites including personnel, tools, materials, daily planning, coordination with key stakeholders, vessels and so much more. You are the critical person for ensuring safe and effective operations for the teams under your control. You should expect to:

Additional information
The role works on a rotating 2-week schedule being on site, onshore or offshore, during the work period, and requires approximately 180 days of travel per year. If you are not on site, you should expect to be either in a nearby Vestas office or at home, planning or working on the next upcoming projects. Applications are handled on an ongoing basis.
