EDC Coordinator

Taking charge of EDC issue management involves a dynamic range of responsibilities. This includes tackling incoming deviations, processing adjustment requests, swiftly addressing damage reports, and ensuring the seamless flow of day-to-day operations. As the linchpin between internal suppliers and the collaborative EMEA supply planning team and our dedicated 3PL warehouse, this role thrives on effective communication and problem-solving prowess.

Your core tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Review, investigate inbound deviations and in collaboration with our 3PL warehouse operator, internal factories and the EMEA supply planning team actively drive solutions and actions to solve deviations and prevent them from happening again.
• In case of suspect nonconforming material ensure that a Nonconforming material report has been raised to the Technical Product Owner
• Monitor inbound area including internal and external repacking on a daily basis and take actions if not processed in a timely manner.
• Monitor and analyze inbound deviations to identify options for improvement.
• Proactively inform the EMEA supply planning team and other relevant stakeholders of open issues related to EDC
• Initiate, and in collaboration with our 3PL warehouse operator, internal factories and the EMEA supply planning team, actively drive improvements actions to reduce deviations of top causes and from top suppliers in the inbound deviation tracking.
• Together with EMEA supply planning participate in collaboration and improvements meeting with our factories
• Participating in, driving improvement activities and developing solutions for operational problems and continuously strive towards efficient and effective operations;
• Responsible for investigation and approval of adjustment requests and to inform relevant stakeholders.
• Responsible to, in collaboration with the technical product owner, drive damage reports to a disposition decision and to inform relevant stakeholders.
• Issue and manage carrier complaints for goods from suppliers arriving damaged at 3PL warehouse.

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Bachelor degree or equal through experience;
• Language skills: English, Dutch is an advantage;
• Minimum experience of 2 years in a quality function preferably within medical devices or pharmaceutical industry
• Experience within the medical industry is an advantage;
• Strong in automated data processing and experience with SAP
• Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office products or equivalent software applications.
