Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer Electrical / Security to support the execution of project for a client in the pharmaceutical sector in the region of Brussels. This position is open for employees or freelancers.

Responsibilities

Tasks:

  • Participate in the feasibility study and build the conceptual design for new projects
    incoming
  • Bring his technical expertise to ensure the best technical solution is provided to
    Engineering customers
  • Ensure the technical follow-up of all projects managed by the Engineering, Sites &
    Facilities
  • Support all Physical Asset Management initiatives, including Technical Assessment, failure analysis.
  • Defining & Developing Technical Engineering Standards taking into accounts regulations, business constraints, safety & green aspects
  • Seeking opportunities to implement innovations in equipment lifecycle
  • Can operate with a great deal of autonomy, results-oriented and able to deliver within
    preset deadlines.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Technical Proficiency: must have a strong foundation in technical knowledge and skills related to electrical systems, circuits, and equipment. This includes understanding electrical principles, digital and analog electronics, power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation. Proficiency in using industry-standard software tools for designing, analyzing, and simulating electrical systems is also crucial.
  • Minimum of 5 years in an information security role, with a focus on EU cybersecurity directives
  • Electrical/security Engineer is often tasked with identifying and solving complex problems related to electrical systems. They need to have strong analytical skills to break down problems, evaluate different solutions, and select the most appropriate one.
  • The ability to think critically, apply logical reasoning, and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently is essential.
  • Effective communication is vital for Electrical/Security Engineer. They need to be able to clearly communicate technical concepts and ideas to colleagues, clients, and other
    stakeholders. This includes writing technical specifications, reports, presenting findings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ensure that engineering solutions are understood and implemented correctly.
  • Experience in large and complex projects as well as both formal and informal
    leadership/coordination. Broad Leadership experience for the management of internal and external resources in international environment
  • Ability to share good practices and knowledge
  • Can identify latest trends in the industry & benchmark against peers in the industry
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to explain complex issues and requirements in an easily understood manner. Able to translate customers’ needs in technical requirements
  • Ability to apply previous learning and ideas to new situations, projects and teams, developing creative solutions to manage risk to a reasonably practicable level.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and make presentations with audiences that include but are not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team-based environment. Able to both take direction and mentor other team members
  • Make sound decisions with agility
  • Full professional proficiency in French and English (both oral and written)
