Introduction

ASML is looking for an ambitious supply chain manager that is able to deliver business impact by applying planning concepts in the ASML customer supply chain. Exciting role for supply chain managers with 10+ years’ work experience, deep understanding of supply chain planning in high tech (service) supply chains and a people growth mindset.

Role and Responsibilities

As part of the Integral Field Product Planning leadership team you are responsible for the supply chain plan of the field products for all business lines. You drive the required business decisions, assure that risks in the plan are mitigated and create impact by capturing opportunities. You represent the Integral Field Product Planning in the ASML plan cycle. You will work closely with the Forecasting, Planning & Inventory teams to create your plan, and the Data, Analytics & Program teams to drive improvements.

The Integral Field Product Planning department is part of the Planning & Delivery sector, and responsible for:

  • Driving planning decisions in the ASML customer supply chain

  • Integrating the complete customer demand in the ASML plan cycle

  • Achieving performance targets by state-of-art forecasting, planning and inventory management

  • Improving the customer supply chain through standardization and automation

As manager of the Field Product Planning team you will solve complex business planning puzzles with your team, from new product Introduction, to delivery in volume, to phase out. You drive for customer impact while balancing cost and capital, you consider the interests of different stakeholders and you grow your team of young, ambitious supply chain professionals to the next level.

Your role is to secure fact-based decision making by bringing all relevant pieces of information together. You seek alignment by collaborating closely with the different sectors within ASML. And you present the scenarios and their consequences to senior management.

Your main activities are to lead and empower a team of product planners to:

  • Enable decision-making for investments to support the long term growth of ASML

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine the consequences

  • Drive decision-making by presenting scenarios to senior management;

  • Ensure that the entire organization is executing the plan

  • Manage performance by monitoring KPI’s and driving progress

  • Identify and capture opportunities, as well as mitigating risks

  • Drive continuous improvement by embedding decision making in the business planning process

Education and Experience

Relevant Master degree or equivalent level of thinking in the field of supply chain management and/or planning, e.g. Industrial Engineering, Business studies, Supply Chain Management (MBA is a pre)

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning in large international, high-tech companies (industry or consultancy)

  • Deep understanding of planning and supply chain concepts, where experience in service supply chains is beneficial

  • Track-record in growing globally diverse, cross-functional teams of ambitious young professionals

Context of the position

The Field Product Planning Manager is part of the Integral Demand & Supply department of the Planning & Delivery (P&D) sector. In this position you report to the head of Integral Field Product Planning. P&D is the neutral party within ASML that is responsible for creating the stretched and rational plan for the entire supply chain. ASML’s aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing system functionality leads to significant increase of the company’s activities at customer premise. As a result, we manage a increasingly complex global supply chain network with tens of thousands of unique spare parts and tools with differentiated and affordable state-of-art supply chain concepts. Our workforce drives the planning of this global supply chain network to deliver value for our customers, while optimizing our footprint and capital investments.
