FPGA / VHDL Designer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated FPGA Engineer to join our hardware design team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and verifying FPGA-based systems and modules for high-performance and mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital design, experience with FPGA toolchains.

• Design and implement FPGA-based digital systems using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and systems engineers to define architecture and interface requirements
• Perform synthesis, place and route, timing analysis, and hardware debugging
• Develop testbenches for functional verification and simulation of designs
• Optimize designs for performance, area, and power consumption
• Conduct lab testing, including bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting on custom hardware platforms
• Maintain clear documentation for design specifications, verification plans, and test results
• Stay updated with the latest FPGA technologies and industry trends

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in FPGA design and development
• Proficiency in HDL (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog)
• Experience with FPGA toolchains such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or Lattice Diamond
• Solid understanding of digital design principles, including finite state machines, clock domains, and high-speed interfaces
• Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., ModelSim, QuestaSim)
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
