Functional Control Engineer Powertrain

We are looking for an enthusiastic Functional Control Engineer Powertrain.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Definition and evaluation of top-level requirements for functions related to the powertrain of wind turbines in alignment with other R&D departments, services and sales.
• Setup concepts of wind turbine powertrain functions in cooperation with internal stakeholders and partners.
• Creation of architectures and specifications for the implementation and tests of functions.
• Definition and tracking of deliverables and milestones.
• Interface and progress reporting to project and program teams.
• Coordination of software development with internal and external software developers.

What we ask of you

• Master Degree or PhD in engineering, e.g. electrical engineering, computer science or mechatronics or comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience of control engineering and software development.
• Very good knowledge of power converters and powertrain.
• Experience of project management are of advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentations skills in English.
