Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in education technology, or selling enterprise software, account management, or a related field.
- Experience presenting to and building relationships with various stakeholders at academic institutions or enterprises.
- Ability to communicate in Dutch or German and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience supporting technology adoption and change-management initiatives with customers.
- Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other transformative technologies.
- Understanding of the Higher Education sector, including its issues and decision-making processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Track record of executing go-to-market strategies and exceeding targets along with experience in building thought leadership innovative programs in Edu space.
- Excellent negotiation, and communication skills.
About the jobAs a Gemini Adoption Sales Representative for Higher Education, you will be a key player in developing and executing the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy to drive the adoption of Gemini. You will manage a defined portfolio of universities and colleges within your territory, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor. You will build ecosystem partnerships in the sector that will aid the Gemini expansion.
This is an entrepreneurial role that requires a passion for education, an excellent understanding of artificial intelligence, and a proven ability to drive technology adoption. Your primary objective will be to foster meaningful adoption that demonstrates the transformative value of Gemini for teaching, learning, and research within your accounts. You will act as an advocate for Gemini, building excellent relationships with key stakeholders including university leadership, faculty, department heads, and IT leaders. In addition, you will be a critical contributor to our internal teams, providing customer feedback to help shape the product roadmap and refine the playbook for scaling Gemini adoption.A conversational AI tool that enables users to collaborate with generative AI and help augment their imagination, expand their curiosity, and enhance their productivity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the GTM strategy for Gemini in higher education in a specific market. Own the key results for adoption within your assigned accounts, focusing on programs that demonstrate quantifiable value including delivering training to support Gemini adoption across users.
- Identify and engage directly with key stakeholders at the academic institutions in your territory. Act as a trusted advisor, helping faculty and departments build and execute roadmaps for integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into their teaching and research.
- Identify sector stakeholders that could be enablers to Gemini adoption in the Higher Education sector. Be a thought leader across the sector.
- Synthesize and relay feedback from customers to help influence the future roadmap for Gemini in education.
- Collaborate with teams across Google (Cloud, Marketing), to ensure you have an aligned One-Google strategy to support universities.
