CS Global Program Manager – Non PGP programs & projects
Introduction to the job
The Portfolio Delivery Department within Central CS is looking for a Global Program Manager who is able to deliver projects impacting (operational) processes in the field. You take charge of the typical “triple constraints” (time, budget & scope) and manage a cross-functional team to deliver the targeted non-Product (nPGP) related improvements. Strong change management and communication skills are needed to connect field, central, program and x-sectoral stakeholders.

The Customer Support (CS) Organization enables our customers' success by working directly in their fabs to ensure their tools operate at the highest capacity every day. This role is positioned within the Central CS team in Veldhoven, the Portfolio Delivery Department is responsible for the End-2-End delivery of nPGP improvements. These improvements impact the operational processes engineers execute during machine maintenance, install, upgrade and/or relocation processes, and supporting processes in the local backoffices.
The Portfolio Delivery department contains several teams, comprising PMO, Program & Project management clusters, and Regional Engagement Managers. This vacancy is positioned in one of the “Program & Project Management” clusters.
Role and Responsibilities
The Program manager organizes the program governance; defines the program roadmap and initiates the workstreams that design, deliver and implement the required deliverables and ensure business value.
Creating a program delivery and deployment plan, which should address both Project Management aspects to realize its deliverables as well as the Change Management aspects to achieve the actual embedding and standard use of its deliverables in the regions. A well-developed vision based upon an understanding of ASML CS service operation and the drivers of its stakeholder is essential to be successful.
You drive the realization of the overall program plan by continuously optimizing current business needs, solution build or deployment considerations, while still ensuring the targeted improvement is achieved. The end goal is to have the business adopt the improved step up in a sustainable way. This will require a strong self-drive, excellent stakeholder management and a continuous fine tuning of the Change Management component of your project plan.
Your first assignment
There are 3 Program & Project management clusters within the Portfolio Delivery department: 1) Field Operations, 2) Security & Infrastructure, and 3) Diagnostics, Performance Management, and Material Management related topics. We are looking for Program Managers in all these clusters, depending on your ambition, seniority and preference we will determine the best match.
Education and experience
Master degree in business administration, industrial engineering or technical area.
You are a professional (>10yrs) in the field of program management, business transformation or change management within international and multicultural organizations;
Fully at ease in working with senior and middle management, but also in working with operational Departments (e.g. engineers, back office workers);
Excellent communication skills, that allow you to thrive in a multi-cultural and digital environment;
Team player, proactive and communicative personality with the ability to act in a highly demanding and volatile environment;
Capability to drive complex issues to simple and pragmatic solutions in a plan-based way;
Sense for tactical and political relations on both strategic and operational level;
Able to convince, inspire and motivate people or Departments.
