Job description:

The Embedded Systems team within KROHNE's Electronics Division is crucial to developing converter electronics for our flowmeters. We seek a talented Hardware Engineer to join our multidisciplinary project team, focusing on the specification, design, simulation, and testing of converter electronics. You will report functionally to the project manager. Your key responsibilities will be the following:

  • Design and develop electronic hardware components and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
  • Create schematic diagrams and PCB layouts using CAD tools.
  • Conduct simulations and analyses to ensure product performance and reliability.
  • Prototype and test hardware designs to validate functionality.
  • Work with manufacturing partners to transition designs into production.
  • Maintain documentation and version control throughout the development process

These are your qualifications:

We are looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills and eye for detail. Ability to elevate both individuals and the company. You will also need:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hardware design, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI compliance.
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and embedded systems.
  • Experience with product development lifecycle and manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Proficient in English and Dutch communication.
