Job
PM Group are seeking an experienced HV Lead to join our Data Center project in Mons Belgium.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, installation, and commissioning of high voltage electrical systems (11kV-33kV)
- Manage HV substation integration and utility connections for data center power feeds
- Coordinate with utility providers, contractors, and internal stakeholders on power delivery schedules
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and data center industry requirements
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and energization of HV equipment and switchgear
- Manage HV project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for HV work activities
- Provide technical guidance to electrical teams and review HV design documentation
- Interface with client representatives and regulatory authorities on HV matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
- Minimum 8+ years experience in high voltage electrical systems (11kV-132kV)
- Proven track record leading HV projects in data centers, industrial facilities, or critical infrastructure
- Professional engineering license or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of HV equipment: transformers, switchgear, protection systems, cables
- Experience with utility interconnections and grid connection processes
- Understanding of data center power architecture and redundancy requirements
- Excellent project management and leadership capabilities
