We now wish to recruit an Intermediate Project Engineer to coordinate, oversee and manage numerous projects.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-discipline Engineering\Design, Project Management and Construction Management teams.


Responsibilities

On a day to day basis you will be involved in the following activities:

  • Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with our clients.
  • Effectively communicating with both internal & external stakeholders.
  • Establishing project objectives in line with our clients and ensure goals & timelines are achieved.
  • Executing projects via the PM Group Quality and Management systems.
  • Responsibility for projects technical and commercial delivery.
  • Developing & implementing appropriate project execution strategy.
  • Establishing project resource requirements and leading\motivating the project team.
  • Ensuring compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations.
  • Developing & maintaining project budgets.
  • Managing development of project plans with focus on achievement of project goals.
  • Providing performance updates/reports views for identification of variances and corrective action.
  • Liaising with Senior management with regular project performance status.

Qualifications

You will have the following:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • A minimum of 3 – 6 years’ experience in the Project Management of medium to large capital projects from design through to construction and commissioning
  • An excellent record in Health & Safety
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential along with a good understanding\experience of project controls & governance through the full project lifecycle
  • An advanced qualification in Project Management (ideally)
