We are looking for a System Architect to strengthen our Architecture capabilities in the User Support Services ART within the Core-IT End User Services.
In this role you are able to use your influential skills to drive the change, balancing decisiveness and applying flexibility where needed. Architecture within Sector IT provides the framework and direction for Solution delivery, The Target Architecture plots the dot at the horizon and the Incremental System Architectures describe the step to the next plateau that will be accomplished.
 

The role will be situated in the User Support Services (USS) Agile Release Train.
User Support has a wide scope of services, varying from On Site Support, 24x7 Service Desk, Work from home enablement, hardware selection and life cycle management, support process- and support equipment innovation. There is an explicit link with the operational IT support processes, where ASML's service providers support employees with IT-requests and -issues. The User Support Services ART explicitly focusses on innovation to continuously improve the quality of its services.


Role and Responsibilities

You will be part of the Core IT End User Services group. As an IT Architect - End User Services you create and maintain the vision and strategy for the User Support Services (USS) ART and continuous prepare and adopt for future changes in workforce patterns and technology capabilities. In this role you will define the next steps that are needed for the USS ART that are optimized according to the requirements of the various user communities. Building a governance structure together with other members of the Leading Coalition and the many stakeholders within the USS domain on consolidating solutions into the bigger plan.

As System Architect you interact with the business to understand current and future needs, next to translate that into User Support Services vision and blueprint and come to agreement and adoption with the business. You will manage your stakeholders by aligning on architectural challenges and choices made to address these. You need to be one top of the initiatives around User Support Services and therefore strong collaboration with your peers and stakeholders is key!

Education and experience
To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need experience working on hightech products & with complex processes. As IT Architect - End User Services, you’ll need:

  • More than 5 years of relevant experience

  • A thorough understanding and practical experience with large technical ICT environments, creating and presenting high level architectural designs and creating and presenting long term roadmaps, modelling languages (understanding of Archimate is a plus)

  • Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and experience with SAFe is helpful

  • You have proven experience working in similar, complex environments as a System Architect

  • You are a technological expert and fully understand the team’s technical objectives

  • You have a MSc. in IT, Data Science or equivalent and preferably are Agile or SAFe certified
