We currently have a requirement for a Lead Structural Design Engineer to work on various projects for our client based in Braine l'Alleud (near Brussels).

Responsibilities
As Lead Structural Design Engineer you will be integrated in a structure engineering team wich leads infrastructure studies and utilities on different client sites.
Tasks:
- Study of different projects: extension of a restaurant, discussion about a new building, addition of new boilers, etc.;
- Based on that you will have to contact the client, describe the scope of the project, see if it’s possible or not, and start the feasibility study
- You also will be involved in the design phase of the project
- Possibility to go on-site at Bulle; however, travel will be quite low
Qualifications
- At least 10 years in the construction industry as a project leader or in an equivalent role
- Experience in pharma is a nice to have
- Experience in building infrastructure and design
- Experience in architecture or house design could help and make a difference
- Expertise in cGMP, Green Building, HSE standards, and chemical and pharmaceutical standards
- Proficiency in managing capital assets and familiarity with master plan building processes and strategies
- Experience managing projects with a budget of up to 15 million euros
- Language: FR is a must and ENG is important as well
- Homeworking: 2 days per week is possible
