Job description

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Management Assistant to support the Senior Vice President and Management Team of Business Unit Western Europe. You are pro-active and you will provide high-level assistance in a busy and demanding environment ensuring a consistently high level of service. You interact regularly with an international network both internally and externally and you are responsible for managing complex agendas, coordinating meetings and ensuring the timely completion of tasks.

What will your main responsibilities be?

• Provide administrative support to the SVP and management team including agenda and meeting management, travel planning and management of visitor logistics and event arrangements;
• Manage complex agendas (both virtual and in person) and reschedule if needed;
• Prepare and deliver high quality presentations using PowerPoint;
• Participate in management meetings and take minutes and follow up on action items;
• Organise (inter)national meetings and workshops, including booking meeting rooms, travel arrangements, lunches and ensuring smooth technical set-up (e.g. MS Teams);
• Provide excellent customer service;
• Maintain a high level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information;
• Manage office operations including mail, telephone and visitor management;
• Other duties as assigned.

Business Unit Western Europe

In 2023, Stora Enso completed the acquisition of the De Jong Packaging Group (now Business Unit Western Europe), one of the largest manufacturers of corrugated packaging in Western Europe (The Netherlands, Germany, UK and Belgium). Most of the sites are corrugated converting and packaging wholesales facilities. The Business Unit is part of the Packaging Solutions Division of Stora Enso.

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor's degree preferred;
• 4+ years of experience in a similar role;
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbal;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
