About Us
Damen Services is the service division within the Damen Group and delivers all the after-sales activities for the Damen portfolio with a prime focus on workboats and offshore support vessels. The division aims to be the strategic partner to deliver sustainable service and support during the lifecycle of Damen customer’s assets.
Damen Services has a global coverage with service hubs worldwide and its head office in the Netherlands. By providing excellent service with the initial delivery and throughout the lifecycle of Damen vessels , Damen Services strives for recurring customers for both new build and aftermarket service. The primary focus is to further enhance the service portfolio on the Damen installed base and to add value to the market by utilizing knowledge of Damen vessels and their systems. Through our strategic global presence, we aim to be present as close to our clients as we possibly can, while ensuring that we continue to act as one Damen Services at all times.
Our area teams are end-to-end responsible for selling and delivering services. Area teams usually consist of a multidisciplinary team of commercial and operational roles, both in the head office and in the service hubs. A central governed part of the organization covers specialized commercial services, acts as an expertise and knowledge centre on Damen service and provides operational, commercial and staff expertise in support of the area teams.

The Role
As Manager Procurement & Supply Chain you are responsible for the strategy and policy for Damen Services in your domain to secure our position towards stakeholders and facilitate our running and growing business.
A smooth and predictable supply chain is critical to the success of Damen Services. You will play a key role in this by optimizing processes, strengthening supplier relationships, and mitigating risks. Your efforts will directly contribute to consistent service delivery, enhancing operational efficiency and improving customer satisfaction.
With your team you will define and implement our strategy on themes like contract management, supplier performance and development, brand representations, strategic stock management, service levels, master data governance, continuous process improvement, etc. You will represent Damen Services in the Supply Chain Board, group policies and category management .
You are a leading team player, able to set priorities for your teams, coach your colleagues, act as an escalation level if needed and pro-actively manage your internal and external stakeholders. You are able to translate your view on the potential of service for Damen, into tangible plans for your domain. Your team consists of +/- 15 fte in the Netherlands but you represent and facilitate the procurement and supply chain community of Damen Services including our 11 worldwide service hubs.
Procurement and Supply Chain is positioned in the central governed part of our organization. In your role you will report to the Operations Director of Damen Services.
