The Lentiviral Vector (LVV) production facility is the establishment of a new Janssen Supply Chain in

Sassenheim, the Netherlands to be organized as a new business unit for Janssen Biologics (JBV). This biologic

manufacturing facility is intended to become a key supply option for commercial LVV in support of the global J&J

Innovative Medicine BCMA CAR-T program for multiple myeloma, a disease affecting ~160,000 patients annually.

The production facility is currently being qualified with many milestones in the long-lead project plan.

Janssen Biologics is recruiting a Manufacturing Process Specialist as part of the NPI-team (New Product Implementation) to become a multi-product facility. You will play a crucial role in this transition.

We are searching for the best talent for a Manufacturing Process Specialist.

You will be responsible for:

• Represents Operations on cross-functional project implementation teams.
• Demonstrating Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo.
• Playing a key role with the introduction of new products into the facility from documentation, technical knowledge, troubleshooting and transferring of applicable process- and equipmentknowledge
• Participating in tech transfers and connecting to applicable stakeholders
• Contribute to the transition from project into base business organization including NPI’s
• Escalates any concerns or issues to leaders to maximize successful business results
• Enhance a culture of belonging through trusting, divers, & inclusive

Qualifications / Requirements:

• A relevant bachelor degree in either biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacy, process technology, science, or engineering.
• 4 years’ experience in a biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industry environment with GMP and EHS standards.
• 4 years’ experience in a BSL2 environment, with at least 1 year of expertise in Fill and Finish department.
• Isolator, Robotic Filling, Visual Examination & Labeling experience.
• Validation studies experience such as: Smoke study, Isolator CD/PQ, Ingress study, CCIT study.
• MES master batch records and ESPs design experience.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and in written (preferably also Dutch)
