Product Manager

Your role and responsibilities

You will be accountable for Productline business development of our SpiritIT flowcomputers within the Product-line Process Flow of our Process Automation Measurement and Analytics (PAMA) division, driving sales volumes and margins. In this role, you will proactively develop new markets, applications and regions for our SpiritIT flowcomputer solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct proactive business development aligned with the division’s strategy in countries where business conditions require increased attention and focus. Each day, you will provide business support, including expertise in products, applications, solutions, and segment and customer (group) support for the assigned product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring profitable business growth and sustainable deployment of the division’s strategic plan. This role offers a flexible work model: either onsite at ABB Eindhoven or a hybrid setup, with regular presence in Eindhoven. This role is contributing to the Productline Process Flow within the Business Line Instrumentation, part of ABB’s measurement and analytics division. Key Responsibilities: • Growing the revenue and market share in new markets and regions rapidly for SpiritIT flow computers. • Supporting front end sales with opportunity capture and target customer account plans for flow computers. • Ensuring the strategies and business plans are aligned with the overall Business Line strategy to achieve defined targets. • Overseeing the implementation of activities for agreed market and regional initiatives. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business development strategies and market requirements. You will join a dynamic and very knowledgeable team, where you will be able to thrive

Qualifications for the role

  • +5 years of sales, product management or service experience in the Oil & Gas or petro-chemical industry.
  • Knowledge on flow computers and / or custody transfer applications.
  • Ability to demonstrate Business development experience in helping drive new products to solve customer needs or introducing products into new markets or regions.
  • A Degree in engineering or related subjects.
  • You are at ease communicating in English.
  • You hold current work permit in the Netherlands.
