Overview

We are seeking an experienced Piping Package Owner to lead the design, installation, and commissioning of process piping systems for a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Belgium.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise piping installation for pharma manufacturing facility including process piping, utility systems, and sterile transfer lines
  • Oversee installation of cleanroom piping systems, WFI (Water for Injection) distribution, and pure steam systems
  • Coordinate with process engineering teams to ensure proper integration of piping systems with pharma manufacturing processes
  • Manage piping construction teams and subcontractors to deliver systems on schedule while maintaining GMP compliance requirements
  • Supervise installation of CIP/SIP systems, sterile connections, and hygienic piping installations
  • Ensure compliance with piping codes, safety directives, and pharmaceutical industry standards for sterile systems
  • Coordinate pre-commissioning activities including system testing, pressure testing, and sanitization of process piping
  • Manage quality control processes including inspection, testing, and documentation required for pharmaceutical facility validation
  • Oversee commissioning and qualification activities for piping systems in accordance with pharma validation protocols
  • Coordinate with regulatory affairs and quality assurance teams to ensure piping systems meet regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience in piping construction, preferably within pharmaor process manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of piping regulations, safety standards, and pharma industry requirements for sterile systems
  • Experience with pharma manufacturing facility piping systems, hygienic design principles, and sterile processes
  • Understanding of GMP requirements for piping systems including documentation, testing, and validation protocols
  • Proven ability to manage construction teams and coordinate complex technical installations in regulated environments
  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Proficiency in English + Dutch and/or French advantageous
