Overview

We have a requirement for a Piping Supervisor on a large scale Pharmaceutical Construction project in, Belgium.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee on-site installation of Clean an Black Utilities piping systems, including cleanrooms and/or controlled environments (GMP/ISO standards).
  • Knowledge in different pipe materials and grades, as well as their joining method.
  • Knowledge in fittings, valves, fungibles and instruments.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 211, ASME BPE (Bioprocessing Equipment), ASME B31.3, EN 13485 and NFPA standards.
  • Interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and weld maps, as well as Minimum knowledge in 3D visualization tools.
  • Propose technical suitable solutions for resolution of conflicts on site.
  • Capability to understand the technical requirements for tie-in points (from process and installation perspective) and propose new suitable ones if needed.
  • Site supervision for welding execution, supports installation, and N.D.Ts preparation.
  • Coordinate non-destructive testing (N.D.T) including visual inspections (VT), liquid penetrant (PT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and weld profilometry.
  • Capability to understand and review non-destructive testing (N.D.T) reports (VT, UT, RT, Hydrostatic).
  • Support and review validation protocols (FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ) and maintain full traceability of materials (MTRs).

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years' relevant experience in the construction sector
  • Degree educated or very strong trades' background
  • Previous experience with PM Group desirable but not essential
  • Experience in life science or mission critical or industrial projects essential
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills
  • It is expected to be on site a minimum of 3 days / week, up to 4 if required
  • Good knowledge of English, Dutch and/or French
