De Jong Verpakking by Stora Enso

In the world of packaging and sustainability, two leading forces are coming together: Stora Enso and De Jong Verpakking. Stora Enso, a global player in the bioeconomy and a market leader in renewable products in various sectors, acquired De Jong Verpakking in early 2023. As one of the world’s largest private forest owners, Stora Enso believes that what is made from fossil materials today can be made from trees tomorrow.

This vision of sustainability and progress fits seamlessly with De Jong Verpakking. Within the Packaging Solutions division, De Jong Verpakking has built a reputation as a specialist in corrugated packaging for various sectors, including fresh produce, industrial, horticultural and egg & export. With over 700 employees and a well-equipped production facility, including a new production site, De Jong Verpakking is the largest and most advanced production site in Europe.

De Jong Verpakking has a wide range of products, including display boxes, American folding boxes and cardboard trays. These boxes and trays are delivered flat or pre-assembled to both resellers and end customers in the Benelux, Germany and the United Kingdom. In addition, De Jong Verpakking offers storage space and assembly machines with associated maintenance.

With Stora Enso's leading position in renewable products and sustainability, and with De Jong Verpakking now part of their team following the recent acquisition, they are joining forces to shape the future of packaging together.
