Overview

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join PM Group working for us based out of our Benelux office.

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Geel

Contract: Full Time - Permanent


Responsibilities

Reporting into the Procurement Lead, you will be responsible for the procurement lifecycle for both trade contracts and capital equipment packages on the assigned project or projects.

You will work closely with clients as well as Project Leads to develop and prepare bespoke procurement strategies, coordinate project procurement planning and scheduling, source suppliers and provide regular reporting.

You will also engage with non procurement personnel to ensure a commercially minded approach to project delivery.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in related subject (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Procurement etc.)
  • Relevant professional accreditation or qualification highly desirable (e.g. RICS or MCIPS), but not essential.
  • 2-5 years of experience working in the industrial sector, preferably Pharmaceutical, Mission Critical, Food or Chemicals.
  • Strong understanding of various contract types including NEC4, NEC3, JCT or bespoke.
  • Working knowledge of construction/contract law.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with relevant parties.
  • Flexibility and the ability to handle multiple requests from across several areas.
