PM Group are seeking an experienced Procurement Support to join our pharma construction project team in Ghent, Belgium.

Responsibilities

  • Support procurement activities for pharmaceutical construction materials, equipment, and services ensuring compliance with GMP requirements and regulatory standards
  • Assist in vendor qualification processes and maintain approved supplier databases for pharmaceutical-grade materials and specialized construction equipment
  • Coordinate purchase order processing, contract administration, and supplier performance monitoring throughout the construction project lifecycle
  • Manage procurement documentation including technical specifications, quality certificates, and traceability records required for pharmaceutical facility validation
  • Support expediting activities to ensure timely delivery of critical materials and equipment according to construction schedules and project milestones
  • Assist in cost analysis, budget tracking, and procurement reporting to support project financial management and cost control objectives
  • Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure all procured materials meet pharmaceutical industry standards and project specifications
  • Maintain procurement databases, supplier communications, and contract records in compliance with pharmaceutical industry documentation requirements
  • Support emergency procurement activities and coordinate alternative sourcing solutions to address supply chain disruptions or urgent project needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably within pharmaceutical, construction, or regulated industries
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry procurement requirements including supplier qualification, material traceability, and GMP compliance
  • Experience with procurement software systems, contract management platforms, and supplier relationship management tools
  • Understanding of Belgian procurement regulations, EU compliance requirements, and pharmaceutical industry standards
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills for coordinating with multiple suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in English, + Dutch and/or French languages desireable for effective supplier communication and contract management
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
