Production Engineer - Means and Methods

As our Production Engineer, you will optimize the cycle Time in the ASML production process regarding utility Software and monitor and reduce the lost hours. Utility Software is for example installation-, patch update- & backup software. The support is mainly done within a Linux environment.

In summary, your main responsibilities for this position are:

• Process engineering
  Specifies & implements utility software to realize ASML products
  For instance: Process and/or technical improvements on existing processes/tools; design, documentation, implementation and after care of new processes / tools; setting up Service Level Agreements.

• Project engineering:
  Involvement in projects as a subject matter expert regarding utility software.

• Management of changes and incidents concerning utility software procedures and software tools.

• 2nd line support software procedures and tooling during office hours, and for some weeks also call-out during evening and weekend.

• Give training for end-users
   

For this job opening the overall needed experience is:

• A technical Education on BSc or MSc level and affinity with Linux shell scripting and/or python

• 1 years relevant work experience in a production environment with high tech products and complex production processes.

• Some experience with coding/programming: Linux shell scripting or python

• Management Tooling and Software Engineering experience in a technical domain.

• Knowledge of process improvement methods.

• Analytical, pragmatic and result driven (hands-on mentality)

• Open-minded, strong communication skills, team player, self-starter, to take initiative and to be result oriented

• Fluent in English in speech and in writing.

• Dutch native speakers

For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 65000 euro and 75000. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment. Company profit sharing and shift allowance (if applicable) are not included in this range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant Education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members.
