Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Project Lead to coordinate minor capex projects for a client in the region of Leuven.

Our OTS (Outsourced Technical Services) department supports projects in different sectors on basis of project staffing with consultants working at the client’s site.


Responsibilities

A project lead for minor capital projects guides day-to-day tasks, supports the project manager by overseeing smaller project scopes or parts of larger ones, and leads a team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. The role involves managing resources, solving problems, ensuring team collaboration, and maintaining communication with stakeholders to keep the project on track.

The assignment
  • Organizing and leading project meetings to clarify objectives, align team members and review priorities
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules and tracking milestones Coordinating with external contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables Reviewing and challenging proposed technical concepts and designs for new installations (e.g., mechanical, electrical or infrastructure).
  • Ensuring that assigned projects stay within scope, budget and timing

Duration of the assignment: 1 year

Desired start date: 01/11/2025

Work regime: full time on site


Qualifications

Required knowledge and skills:
  • Minimum Bachelor level
  • Medior level with around 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Hands-on person with technical understanding and direct contribution to the project's work Capable of planning, managing resources, and creating a detailed project plan
  • You speak Dutch and you have a good knowledge of English
