The Twinscan Factory (TF) is responsible for the production of ASML lithography systems including planning and logistics. A place where we strive to be the role model Lean Factory where quality comes first but where safety goes before all.

Within this sector ASML Motion is responsible for production and qualification of complex, high quality litho-specific linear actuators for the ASML Litho Systems (XT, NXT, NXE, EXE). These systems are built and delivered according to customer requirements, in time and at the right quality. Mission
The TF Motion Quality Engineer analyzes, coordinates and solves quality related issues by working in multidisciplinary teams during production and development of linear motors.

By doing this you will help in the continues improvement of the production and development of linear motors for all ASML platforms and help to develop TF Motion as linear motor competence center.

Job Description

• The Quality Engineer reports to the Team leader Quality.

• Analyze, coordinate and solve quality related issues within the production.

• Analyze manufacturing processes on capabilities with the aid of quality tools like capability studies and process control tools.

• Performs failure analysis on quality complaints and nonconforming products and processes.

• Participates in Continuous Improvement Teams.

• Support and participate in the NPI process and the competence center.

• Executes improvement projects in manufacturing.

• Direct support to suppliers in case of production stagnation due to supplier-Q issues

Education & experience

• Bachelor Graduate Mechatronics, Mechanics, Electronics or Applied Physics.

• Vocational Education with approximately 5 years of (extensive) working experience. Postgraduate level starter.

• General Q-methods / -techniques.

• Familiar with various aspects of the product realization process.

• Minimum 5 years working experience in a production environment.

• Administrative experience with common MS Office tools

• Able to change priorities when necessary; keep long term view in mind.

• Communicator / networker to be informed well and knows to find relevant information.

• Good social and communication skills to work with other Departments, such as production and production engineering. 

• Dutch is the main language on the production floor; therefore, candidate must already have good Dutch language skills in speech and writing. Adequate English language skills in speech and writing.

Since we are located outside the main campus at Oirschot we are a small self-sustaining factory (240 FTE) within ASML. We therefore can organize and collaborate efficiently within our location. The production engineer reports to the Team Leader Production Engineering.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
