SDS Separation Technology B.V. is a fast-growing scale-up company, developing,
manufacturing and selling next-gen industrial filtration equipment to purify gas streams (B2B), which can
facilitate both the energy transition and climate change adaptation (such as processing Hydrogen and CO2
emissions). Industrial clients with natural gas and process gas equipment are targeted with innovative
separators and scrubbers - RotaSep ® and RotaScrub ® - that are much more efficient, have a higher
performance and occupy much less space than conventional solutions (“small footprint, massive

Profile:

At least 5 - 10 years of working experience in sales in the Nitrogen and Syngas sector is needed, so this is mainly for senior candidates. Higher vocational working and thinking level (HBO+ degree in, preferably, mechanical engineering, process engineering or related area). An attentive, open personality is required combined with a “winning and growth
mindset”, being able to thrive under our internal slogan “Beat the BIG ones” and share our joint vision of a
new standard in separation and scrubbing. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in business. Excellent
written and verbal communication skills. An interest in and passion for technology is valued.

Job description:

The ideal candidate is based in the Netherlands (office region). You are involved from the start when we
review our product market combinations and responsible for lead generation and ultimately winning orders.
You will be specifically responsible for RotaSep and RotaScrub sales in the overlapping energy transition
sector and process gas sectors (CO2, SO2, NH3 emission reduction and processing of hydrogen, (green)
ammonia and methanol). You will work closely with our sales & market development manager, who
focuses on the oil & gas sector, our application manager and with our project execution team, who will
carry out the projects once signed. You report to the sales & market development manager.

Tasks and responsibilities

General Job Functions:
 Responsible for sales and ongoing lead funnel development for RotaSep and RotaScrub
 Responsible for managing commercial proposals in order to achieve sales and margin targets as
defined in the business plan while managing financial and commercial risks
 Perform target industry analysis to understand and define potential market opportunities and
requirements in terms of Product Market Combinations
 Conduct competitive landscape analysis to understand market competitor solutions as input for
the company’s annual strategy review and business plan
 Develop effective marketing plans and execute in a timely manner
 Support the development of marketing material
 Support the market introduction of new products
 Work synergistically with management and with operations (project management carried out by
project engineer), to ensure effective pipeline management, planning and project execution
Specific responsibilities

Function description

 Customer/prospect requirements analysis
 Making technical proposals based on input from Application Engineering
 Manage commercial proposals incl. RotaSep and RotaScrub and auxiliary components & skids
 Develop necessary sales/marketing materials such as datasheets, process drawings, PowerPoint
Presentations for product demonstrations
 Support CEO with preparation of monthly reporting and annual business plan
 Product demonstration (presentations, webinars and other marketing events)
 Negotiate sales contracts
 Develop pricing strategies
Working conditions:
 Fulltime salary: subject to experience level, holiday allowance, retirement plan.
 Profit dependent bonus (including upside)
 Travel expenses reimbursed (Limited or some travel required). laptop, telephone expenses
 Although this function involves a full-time 5-day work week, part-time home office can be discussed

The technology has a vast range of possible applications and sectors. The core team consists of 7 highly
motivated FTE’s with backgrounds in industrial-equipment, engineering, finance and entrepreneurship. In
addition, our team includes our manufacturing and technology-supply partners, a growing “ambassador-
network” across various sectors & geographic areas as well 7 deeply involved advisory partners, all
working with short communication lines.
