SAP Technical Application Consultant

As SAP Technical Application Consultant in Arnhem, you will work with the most advanced ERP teams in the sector (team SAP&BTP Regie) and make a direct impact on the energy grid of the future. This position is for 32 to 40 hours per week. At Alliander, you will help make the grid more innovative.

The energy transition needs you as SAP Technical Application Consultant

For the SAP Regie team (technical maintenance of the SAP landscape), we are looking for a new colleague with strong technical knowledge to contribute to the management of high-quality SAP systems. This team mainly operates from Arnhem and occasionally from Haarlem. You are comfortable working at the office two days a week because maintaining good contact with your colleagues is important to you. The SAP Regie team consists of 8 experienced members. The team enjoys significant freedom to design solutions and set up processes independently within Alliander’s guidelines. There is a strong focus on quality and the management of critical business processes. As SAP Technical Application Consultant, you will play a crucial role in preparing the IT landscape for the future. Alliander aims to establish a future-proof digital and data foundation. Up-to-date, flexible, efficient, and robust systems are essential for the necessary business transformations and process optimizations.

• managing the technical part of the SAP landscape on a daily basis.
• overseeing and directing the daily handling of incidents and (small) changes in the existing ECC environment toward SAP Enterprise Cloud Services.
• collaborating with your team members and communicating progress and risks.

The core task of ART BAPE is the management of the current SAP ECC system and, eventually, the transition to SAP S/4. ART BAPE currently consists of 6 different ART teams, with SAP Regie being one of them.

• 3+ years of SAP Basis experience.
• knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4, SRM, CRM, SLT, Portal, Cloud Connector, Webdispatcher.
• knowledge of SAP Single Sign On (SSO).
• SAP HANA database management skills.
• ability to independently tackle problems and proactively search for solutions.

Attractive salary and benefits package 

Based on a 40-hour workweek, you will receive:

• a gross monthly salary of € 4.402,74 to € 6.289,63 (scale 9) or € 5.103,98 to € 7.291,40 (scale 10), based on experience level.

• annually an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% (full time) or 12.8% (part time) of your gross annual salary. This includes 5.2% ADV (shorter working hours) and 8% holiday allowance. If you do not work full time, you are not entitled to ADV. You can have this budget paid out as extra salary or use it to purchase extra days off, for example. You choose the option that is right for you. 

• 24.5 days’ holiday per year, which can be topped up generously from your IKB. It is also possible to swap 1 or 2 official public holidays under the collective labour agreement for public holidays of another culture or religion. 

• an end-of-year bonus of 6% of your annual salary in December. 

• a sustainable employability (SE) budget of €500 per year. Choose a payment for a sport or hobby, to make your home more sustainable or to reduce your student loan debt with DUO, for example. You decide how your budget is spent.  
• the possibility of combining working in the office with working from home, if your position allows.
