Senior / Construction Manager - Precon

PM Group are seeking an experienced Senior/Construction Manager - Precon to join our pharma construction project team in Puurs, Belgium.

• Lead pre-construction activities for large-scale pharma manufacturing facility including constructability reviews, scheduling, and resource planning
• Develop comprehensive construction strategies and execution plans for facility construction including phasing, logistics, and regulatory compliance approaches
• Coordinate with design teams to optimize constructability of pharma systems including cleanrooms, process equipment, and specialized infrastructure
• Manage pre-construction budgeting, cost estimation, and value engineering initiatives
• Lead contractor procurement processes including prequalification, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations for major construction packages
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and permitting agencies to secure construction approvals and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
• Develop detailed construction schedules, critical path analysis, and resource allocation plans for construction phases
• Facilitate stakeholder coordination between owners, designers, contractors, and regulatory bodies during pre-construction planning phases
• Establish quality management systems, safety protocols, and project controls frameworks for construction execution

• Extensive construction management experience with specific expertise in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing facility construction
• Strong knowledge of local construction regulations, EU pharmaceutical standards, and large-scale construction project delivery methodologies
• Experience managing pre-construction activities for large scale projects with complex regulatory and technical requirements
• Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, cleanroom construction, and GMP compliance requirements for facility design and construction
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships in regulated environments
• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Proficiency in English + Dutch and/or French languages advantageous
