As Senior Team Lead Tool Registration & Maintenance Support, you are part of the Tool Center team that supports ASML's Veldhoven factories (EF / TF) and D&E with compliant registration of tools, timely repair & maintenance, and logistical execution of delivery & return of tools in the cleanroom.
Context
In this role, you have two main responsibilities. The first to organize and prepare your team to ensure a smooth running and high quality tool registration process, with the goal to optimize tool registration lead time, ensure compliance of registered tools, have close connections with key stakeholders in the tool registration process (EF, TF, D&E) and with your team contribute to timely availability of new tools in the EF & TF factories and tool cabins.
The second is to support the tool maintenance processes with your team, with the goal to optimize tool repair & maintenance lead times, ensure timely availability of spare parts and have close connections with key stakeholders in the tool repair & maintenance process (external suppliers, Supplier Operations, D&E, EF, TF)
You will also work closely with the LO Control Tower engineering team on continuous improvements of your processes and performance. To achieve your team’s responsibilities, you will set priorities, delegate tasks, and deploy your team members where and when it is needed. You will also identify and resolve potential bottlenecks through structural improvements, when needed by engaging your stakeholders.

ResponsibilitiesThe Team Lead Tool Registration & Maintenance Support leads a team of about 15 quality technicians & maintenance planners, with the goal of ensuring correct registration of tools before they are introduced in the factory and ensuring a smooth repair & maintenance process, thereby optimizing tool availability and ensuring compliance, quality and safety.
For the correct and timely registration of tools and supporting the repair & maintenance process, the Tool Registration & Maintenance Support team is dependent on input from stakeholders like D&E, EF, TF, Supplier Operations and external suppliers. Next to the registration of new tools, your team is also responsible for the administration of and reporting on exemptions for tool usage by D&E, EF and TF, for the administration and execution of scrap requests for tools, and for the execution of the logistical flow for tools that need to go to external suppliers for maintenance. While focusing on efficiency and output, the team lead is also expected to ensure a safe work environment and have a strong quality & continuous improvement focus. Key responsibilities include:
People management: ensures adequate organization and staffing to realize output at optimized cost levels. Ensure proper execution of HR policies and procedures. Coaches the team members, delegates tasks, sets priorities, solves problems and contributes to a productive working environment. Setting personal targets for your team, regularly evaluating their performance.
Daily Performance Management: observe and steer day to day execution through the tier 1 / tier 2 structure. Responsible for solving issues and preventing reoccurrence, and for ensuring processes are executed in line with agreed ways of working.
Tactical Performance Management: define, measure and report overall SLA / performance to internal customers and staff.
Safety: ensure a safe working environment for all personnel in the Tool Cabin and the cleanroom in general.
Continuous Improvement: initiate and implement organizational improvements for the Tool Registration & Maintenance Support team in terms of processes, tools and people capabilities. Drives improvement projects within the department and organizes opportunities for employees to contribute and execute within projects that contribute to the realizing the Tool Center mission and vision. Supports & leads in achieving LEAN improvements, including 5S+1. Coordinates and participates in cross-sector improvement projects.
Planning: plan on priorities as defined in SLA’s. Identify potential bottlenecks in operation. Act and communicate on situations with appropriate urgency and in a pragmatic way. Actively and structurally align with internal stakeholders (EF, TF, D&E, Supplier Operations, Logistics Operations) to ensure optimal execution of the daily operational plan.
Collaboration: contribute towards effective collaboration with other Logistics Operations Departments, the EF & TF factory, D&E, Supplier Operations and other stakeholders.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
