Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in business development, partnerships or management consulting in the Consumer Electronics, OEMs, Telecom, or Technology industries.
  • Experience in sales management or partner management in smartphone business.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships with Carriers.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Dutch fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or other advanced degree.
  • Experience in growing strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Ability to interpret legal documents and work with lawyers to complete agreements.
  • Excellent investigative and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to clarify and summarize complex issues.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager in Devices and Services Partnerships, you will cultivate and maximize relationships with our leading carrier partners. You will take on multiple functions, forging new alliances, uncovering opportunities and executing go-to-market and promotional strategies. You will identify and resolve potential roadblocks, while using investigative skills that will allow you to glean insights from key metrics and uncover emerging trends. You will also collaborate across the organization to drive initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Manage our product sales and business growth by leveraging the experience and knowledge to shape our business. Identify opportunities and drive with our partners Google Devices and Services to the next level.
  • Forecast and report key metrics, track actual progress toward forecasts, drive, and evaluate business growth of promotional and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis, and develop and communicate final recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) business with focus on carriers and Telco business. Work with legal teams to discuss and execute complex agreements.
  • Build long-term relationships to help to realize and optimize value from carrier partnerships.
