Currently, the Planning & Delivery department within the Supply Chain organization of ASML is looking for an Inventory Data Analyst / Specialist to join the Integral Demand & Supply team! As Data Analyst, you are a structured person with strong data management skills. You support performance management and work closely with diverse teams to develop and drive projects from inception to completion. You make the link in our reports to efficiently improve inventory management topics like reducing inefficient inventory, over-planned inventory and/or excess & obsolescence inventory.

Role and Responsibilities

As Data Analyst, you:

  • Analyze inventory data generated out of the inventory management system

  • Collaborate with other Departments to provide reporting and analysis requirements

  • Maintain ASML Inventory bucketing logic, always searching for optimizations and improvements

  • Generate business insights by converting performance data into visuals, reports and dashboards that can be used to take appropriate action

  • Establish and maintain relevant information database for analysis, reporting and decision-making

  • Interacts with cross-functional stakeholders and with IT to raise and explain issues; methods, results and recommendations

  • Be contact person for inventory related topics towards the stakeholders (sectors and BLs)

  • Set-up inventory related improvement projects and contribute to the execution of it

  • Give advice to the organization on inventory related topics based on your analyses and experience you gathered

Education and experience
  • Bachelor or Master level in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, (Industrial) Engineering or comparable

  • 0-3 years relevant work experience or background in Supply Chain Management and/or Inventory Management is a must

  • Strong analytical skills. Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents (big data, business intelligence) and ability to convey interpretations to the business

  • Experience in building and maintaining reporting/tools

  • Proficient knowledge of BI tooling (e.g. Spotfire, Power BI) is a must

  • Programming skills (Python and/or SQL) is a must

  • A conceptual understanding of IT systems, for instance knowledge of SAP BW/HANA, is a plus

  • Knowledge/practical experience in ERP systems (SAP) is a plus
