Our Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Netherlands department is responsible for all CRE activities/responsibilities for the Netherlands portfolio and ensure alignment with CRE strategy, business continuity and operational excellence in accordance with CRE’s foundational elements.


The Space & Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the Space Management & Facility Management team for the performance on the defined KPI’s. As a Data Analyst in the Space Management Team the main objective is to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to the housing and workplace experience of ASML’s employees in The Netherlands.

Roles and responsibilities

The role of the Space & Data Analyst entails the following key responsibilities:

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting data related to housing and workplace experience metrics such as occupancy rates, utilization rates, and employee satisfaction scores

  • Collect, organize, and combine (structured and unstructured) data and transfer it into management information and insights.

  • Data Analytics of global performance relating to Housing & Workplace Experience, incl. workplace analysis, surveys and internal and external benchmarking to identify improvement areas

  • Developing and maintaining data dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to key stakeholders in collaboration with the Data & Applications team

  • Conducting data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of data

  • Performing ad-hoc analysis and deep dives to uncover trends and provide insights to support business decisions

  • Providing recommendations and insights based on data analysis to support the development of strategic plans for the housing and workplace experience

  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and workplace experience management

  • Improve overall space related data quality and reporting (NL organization).

  • Support on further optimization of the data management structure, dashboarding and tooling.

  • Support the development of the NL Masterplan (Space planning responsibility) by providing relevant data analysis related to space utilization, trend analysis and real estate insights.

  • Discover, interpretate, and communicate meaningful patterns in data, combining different data sources.

  • Support the team members  in setting up work files and reporting formats.

  • Perform (automatic) analysis, create reports, modelling, and create strategic solutions

  • In cooperation with the Data Steward as counterpart for collection, retrieving data and its quality.

Complexity

  • Ability to successfully navigate the high degree of ambiguity and ever-changing demands of our internal stakeholders

  • Manage relationships with regional space planners

  • Ability to operate in a high impact, fast-paced environment, while maintaining composure under deadline pressure.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor / Master degree in business management, hospitality management, facility manage or similar.

  • At least 5-10 years of similar experience in housing space management, scenario and demand management.

Core competencies

  • Relevant Master degree, e.g., Real Estate, Business Administration, Data Science.

  • Experience in working with data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Preferably experience in working in the (corporate) real estate sector.

  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience.

  • Academic working level obtained by Education and work experience.

  • Experience in gathering and analyzing information in a fast-paced international network organization.

Functional competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, including the ability to build trust and understanding

  • Proactive, data orientated, organized mindset, and result-driven

  • Strong oral and written communication skills as well as creativity, attention to detail, and analytical skills

Context of the position

Reports to: Manager Space Planning
Manages: No direct/indirect reports
Interfaces: Housing Solution Specialists, Data Analysts, CRE NL Business Partners, REDS, CRE CoE.
