Works in EHS team of D&E, S&SC, Manufacturing, CS, CRE or Corporate EHS. Interfaces with EHS manager and with managers/ directors of own sector.
Acts as EHS Business Partner for a number of Departments or a large, diverse department/subsector with high diversity of activities.
Formulates and after approval implements and monitors operational plan for own area and provides input to EHS departmental strategy.
Translates EHS policies to business situations for own department.
Needs to interpret and apply policies to come to optimal solution for the business needs. Establishes EHS standards and practices for own area. Brings specific expertise on product safety for Global Manufacturing. Contributes to wider policy formulation in assigned business area based on EHS perspective and expertise.
As addition, an EHS Expertise Manager 1 working at Corporate EHS interfaces with managers/ directors of other sectors (both within and outside the EHS workfield).
Requires professional/conceptual knowledge (relevant Master's degree) with substantial, progressive working experience in several EHS work areas in technical industry, consultancy or national government. Has solid experience across different EHS work areas with specific expertise on product safety.
Ability to work in a dynamic business environment on a tactical level.

Manages Product Safety for own sector. Is part of or leads project teams to improve and implement worldwide EHS product safety processes.
