The RBA center of excellence supports the RBA organization by offering a variety of service required for the organization to operate effectively. This includes training, project management, reporting and process management capabilities. Within the data, processes and reporting team the capabilities of process management, data analytics and reporting are being covered.

The governance, risk & compliance process & training Manager works within the sub-team of architecture, processes & technology (APT, 5 FTE) and will help with defining, formalizing and further maturing the processes related to risk & compliance management. You will interface with our sector facing team and the other competencies within the center of excellence to both collect information and drive all the tasks necessary to adopt and embed the formal processes in the organization.

In this role, you will have an in-depth understanding of integrated risk management processes. You provide insight and oversight on how end-to-end processes are and should be embedded within an organization. Together with the rest of the team you maintain the integrated risk management processes, taxonomy, means & methods. You align with stakeholders inside and outside of risk & business assurance to identify areas of improvement. You will be interfacing regularly with a group of key users to collect feedback on strengths and weaknesses in the existing process model.

Additionally, you will ensure risk & compliance management processes are formalized in our process management tooling (ARIS). You drive innovation, understand new developments in the integrated risk management domain, ensure the RBA mission and strategic priorities can be achieved and that these are translated into functional process requirements. You align with internal risk academy for the creation of training & guidance material to support integrated risk management processes & methodology.

Furthermore, you support in ongoing tooling development (ServiceNow) by aligning the processes, and related trainings, with the tooling capabilities. You identify information needs of key stakeholder and work with the data & analytics competencies within the team to make the required information available.

In this role, you will also:

• Be involved as subject-matter expert regarding risk and control in projects
• Lead a project to identify improvements in process/Governance areas
• Manage and mentor team members
• Develop management report
• Stakeholder engagement and management (Different Compliance Departments and internal Customers)

• Bachelor degree level Education
• 8 years minimum experience in Legal, Information Security, Compliance, Governance or Risk Management
• May have worked as Risk & Compliance Officer, In Company Secretarial function or Information Security capacity
• Previous experience with process engineering
• Experience with ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management or similar GRC tooling is a big plus
• Knowledge of industry related standards e.g. ISO 27000, ISO 31000 etc.
• Knowledge of industry related laws and regulations

The key deliverable or product of the processes and methodology team within risk & business assurance is the new process map and associated guidelines and work instructions. The organization has recently gone through a restructure and is in the process of an ongoing maturity uplift which requires that our existing processes are reviewed and adjusted to be fit for purposes as these impact all 3 lines of responsibility within ASML. Over the upcoming years an ongoing focus on further maturing and optimizing our processes is required to be ready for the projected growth of the organization.

Position in the value chain: The rest of the risk & business assurance organization looks to our team for the guidance on how to work. With rapid growth in the organization and a high volume of new joiners it is critical that our processes are clearly documented to support the onboarding of new employees and standardize the ways of working of existing staff.
