Machine Operator

You will work for an innovative concrete factory near the North Sea Canal, where around 60 permanent colleagues and a flexible team produce sustainable precast concrete products. As a machine operator, you will work with a state-of-the-art mesh welding machine, enjoy plenty of independence and join a close-knit, enthusiastic team. You can earn up to €3,500 gross per month, plus shift allowance, with lots of opportunities to develop yourself in an innovative factory.

About the function

As a machine operator at Voorbij Prefab in Amsterdam, you will operate, set up and maintain the mesh welding machine (Progress system). You make sure the machine runs smoothly, solve malfunctions independently where possible and carry out quality checks. You are the first link in the production line: your work determines whether the whole team can keep going. You work independently, while regularly consulting colleagues from production and engineering. The atmosphere is informal and friendly, but the pace is high. You will work in a two-shift system: one week early, the next week late. It can be hands-on work, but you will be given plenty of freedom and trust.

• You have experience as a machine operator or welder
